HanDKnitters

We require experienced Handknitters to work from home. Applicants will:

• Have the skill of handknitting even fabric
• Have sufficient experience to knit accurately from our printed knitting instructions
• Have the ability to read, write and speak fluent English
• Have a tax file number
• Be able to collect and return work from our Brunswick office

The handknits in our publications are created by knitters who work from their homes. They are the integral link following the designer and the pattern writers in our design team. As well as making the projects featured in our publications, they provide yet another process of mistake proofing for our pattern instructions. Our domicile is Melbourne, Victoria and it is essential that our knitters collect and return work from our Melbourne office. Our standards are high and we require finished garments within a ten day turn around. This type of work is for those dedicated to their craft with an interest in creating a variety of items.
