to fine baby yarns, blends of natural fibres; blends of natural fibres with synthetics, blends of synthetics,
fancy pure wools, hollow spindle, roving, novelty yarns.

EFFECTS

• Marls, tweeds and heathers, printed wools and synthetics, injected colour effects, brushed yarns.

SPECIFICATIONS

• Ball configuration from 25g to 1 kilo balls, pullskeins from 100g to 350g. Spinning counts from 30nm to 2nm.

TREATMENTS

• Machine washability, light and colour-fast dyeing, subtle shades to vibrant colours, soft handle brushing.

• For all yarns, quality is controlled through laboratory testing as standard procedure. The streamlined production process includes automatic bar-coding of all products. The emphasis on quality and innovation

CREATIVE Hand knitting DESIGN

• The company maintains a design studio staffed with designers, pattern writers and in-house
test knitters. They develop patterns for women, men, children, babies and craft items, with a range of basic
to high-fashion designs in each category. Reliability of patterns is assured through test knitting of all garments.

• The Publishing Division operates a full web, publishing and graphics centre supported by modern print technology. ACS publications are recognised for their high quality. Patterns are presented in both standard
form and graphing, and are designed to be simple but effective, with easy-to-follow instructions.
